I decided to try this twitter thing out but it's no fun when I have no followers, so if you're on Twitter I would be eternally grateful if you'd follow me ;).
I'm @ http://twitter.com/evridis
. Yay! But no match tweets (which I hear are lots of fun) for me unfortunately because I won't be home for the remaining three matches.
I really have nothing else to add to this post really, I've just been working and watching the World Cup (sometimes at the same time, god bless my employers for showing all the matches on a huge screen in the cafeteria :))
Work has been extra-extra busy. There's five of us in my department and currently one is on vacation. Then another one suddenly got really sick with something that's called Devil's Grip (*shudder*) and has been in hospital for two weeks D:. So now we're only three doing the work of five...
I'm planning on actually having a life tomorrow and go meet my friends at a sport bar down town to watch the Deutschland-Espana match. Can't wait!!!
Then I'm going out of town for the weekend with my choir to sing in a tiny little village almost on the arctic circle. I won't miss the matches though, we're actually going to stop on our way home on Sunday at my friend's grandparents' place, which is like halfway on our way back to Reykjavík, to watch the final :)
I started this World Cup supporting Denmark, also having a soft spot for Spain but now my old Germany crush from 2004, 2006 and 2008 has flared up. You see, before Bendtner, Piqué and all those guys I'm currently perving over there was Lukas Podolski. UNF!!!
So tomorrow I'm team Germany all the way. But if Spain win with Cesc scoring the winning goal I won't be too devastated :)
